Because each sewing box is assembled by hand, processing times may be slightly longer during holidays, high-volume periods, or product launches.

1. Do I need sewing experience?

Not at all! The Cafecito Sewing Box was designed specifically for complete beginners.

2. Do I need my own sewing machine?

Yes. This kit is designed to be completed using a sewing machine. A sewing machine is not included.

Hand-sewing kits are coming soon!

3. Is thread included?

No. You’ll need standard all-purpose sewing thread in the color of your choice. This allows you to coordinate or contrast the thread with your surprise fabric.

4. Is the pillow insert included?

No. The Pillow Kit includes everything needed to sew the pillow cover, but the insert must be purchased separately.

The completed cover fits a standard 16″x16″ pillow insert.

5. Can kids complete this project?

Yes! The kit is recommended for children ages 9 and older with adult supervision.

6. What project should I choose?

Choose the Envelope Pillow Cover if you’d like to create something decorative for your home.

Choose the Classic Tote Bag if you’d prefer a practical project you can carry and use regularly.

Both projects are designed for complete beginners.

7. Are scissors required?

No cutting is required because the main fabric pieces arrive pre-cut. However, it is helpful to have a small pair of scissors nearby for trimming thread.

8. Will my fabric look exactly like the product photos?

Not necessarily. Each box is a surprise, and fabrics may vary based on the season and available materials.

Every fabric combination is personally selected to create a beautiful finished project.

9. What if I get stuck?

Sewing should be fun, not frustrating.
